What a beautiful day for a walk! There could be no better destination than the Paw Paw Public Library. We took a stroll down the block, through the woods and across the street to meet Miss Whitney. Miss Whitney told us a story about Flip Flap Jack. She showed us how to do string tricks. She let us read Sue Macdonald Had a Book with her (A,E,I,O,U!) and she even let us peek at the construction site for the new library! She told us about the special rain garden they are putting in (it looks like a big mud puddle now) and the octagon windows where children will be able to sit and read inside...but most importantly, she told us about their summer reading programs! We can't wait to get signed up so we can keep reading all summer long! Mark your calendar for June 23rd for the Grand Opening of the new library and to sign up for summer reading programs!
