My name is Amy Koehn and I am in my tenth year at Paw Paw Public Schools. I am originally from northern Illinois, earning my degree in Elementary Education from Augustana College in the Quad Cities. I moved to Pennsylvania in 1998 and spent several years as a stay-at-home mom to my son, Jacob. I moved back to the Midwest in 2007 with Jacob, who graduated from Michigan State this past spring. I married my amazing husband and best friend, James, just a few years ago. I completed my graduate degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University in 2015. James and I live on ten acres just north of Paw Paw. I enjoy gardening, photography, our three cows, crazy puppy and sweet little kitten. I have two nieces and two nephews. I love playing cards, cooking, and of course, READING!! :) I hope someday to travel to Ireland, to read with my grandchildren and to publish a book. Most of all, I think kids are rockstars and I enjoy learning from them each and every day!
