McKenna is a new student at Paw Paw Early Elementary this year!  She is coming to us from Parchment where she went to school from Preschool through First Grade.  McKenna now lives in Paw Paw with her family, which includes her little brother, Jackson (who will be attending Cedar Street!) McKenna was riding her bike when I stopped by for a visit.  She was really excited about showing me her rainbow loom (she makes all kinds of beautiful things!) and her room (where she was sorting her money into piles!)  McKenna's family just rescued a dog three days ago.  They think they will name him "Dexter" but they aren't totally sure yet (we'll have to ask her again in August!)  McKenna also loves to play golf and, of course, READ!!

Welcome to our school and our class, McKenna!  You're going to love it at Paw Paw Early Elementary!

This is Thomas (and if you look really closely, you can see his little brother, Asher in the background!!)  Thomas lives in Paw Paw with his mom, brother and his dog!  When I asked Thomas what he loves to do, he said, "Eating!!"  (He also loves to read!)

Thanks for having me over for a visit today, Thomas!
It was awesome to meet you and your family!

Today I met Ana!  She is all smiles!  She lives with her mom and dad and four chickens and she has SEVEN brothers!!  (They don't all live at home, but wowza!!)  Two of her brothers are students at the Later Elementary.  She loves to read and to splash in the pool.  She is really enjoying her summer, especially her time at Great Wolf Lodge with Grandma!

Thanks for inviting me to visit today, Ana!
We are all looking forward to seeing you in late August at Open House!

This afternoon I got to visit Taylor, a student in our class this year.  She was hanging out at home with her dad and her little brother (who will be in Kindergarten this year).

While we were visiting, I learned that Taylor loves to swim (she's lucky - she has a great friend right next door who has a pool!).  She has a dog named Stanley and she loves to read.  Right now her favorite books are Judy Moody books.

Thanks for letting me come visit, Taylor!
