We had so much fun at the Prowl!! We ran laps to raise money for our school! Every lap helped us earn more money to support field trips, books and events at the Early Elementary! We wanted to do our part to support our school.  Thank you to the PTO and all the volunteers who helped make the Paw Paw Prowl a huge success again this year!!...

Today, in math, we learned about using centimeters and meters to measure.  We had a GREAT discussion about why we needed both kinds of measurements!  (Just ask Natalie and Benny who tried to measure the carpet with centimeters!) We have been learning about our government and today, in honor of Constitution Day, we learned about the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.  We learned about how the delegates had to compromise to create a set of rules for the new government and so we worked together to create a set of rules for our classroom.  The students came up with the following: We the students of Room 18, in order to form a more perfect classroom, create these rules to make our classroom a safe, calm learning environment where all students can...

Step 1: Figure out if you want a fiction book or a nonfiction book.  Go to the section of the classroom library.   Step 2: Find a bin that interests you...cats, dinosaurs, Magic School Bus, biographies...
