Today, in math, we learned about using centimeters and meters to measure. We had a GREAT discussion about why we needed both kinds of measurements! (Just ask Natalie and Benny who tried to measure the carpet with centimeters!)
We used our rulers and meter sticks to measure different objects in the classroom.
We found some things that were long and needed a meter stick to be measured.
We also found some things that were pretty small and using a ruler was the most efficient tool!
Sometimes we found objects that were more than one meter, but not two meters.
We had to think about how many meters it might be.
