When we return to school in January, it will be a new year (2018!)  What are two things you want to get better at in 2018 and what will you do to get better? This morning we were able to shop at the PTO sponsored Holiday Shop! We really enjoyed having a chance to buy presents for our family members! There were so many ideas to chose from! The volunteers made the process so easy and fun! There was even a familiar elf (Ava's mom) to help wrap our presents! We were all so patient as we waited our turn to shop! Thank you PTO for the opportunity to get a few great gifts for our...

We started our field trip on the steps of the Van Buren County Courthouse. Mr. Hardester taught us lots of interesting facts about the courthouse! Then we went inside where Judge Dufon taught us about the three branches of government and our responsibilities as citizens.  We got to practice being part of a town council making laws, police officers enforcing the laws and the jury who would hear our case! Mrs. Koehn got arrested...
