The kids worked collaboratively with a partner to research an animal of their choice.  Students used books and online resources to find facts about the animal and then worked together to produce a product that would help educate other learners about the subject.  We focused on using as many nonfiction text features we could, including: vocabulary words, photographs, captions, diagrams, labels, maps, titles, headings, etc.  The students did a great job of putting together amazing products to show their learning and putting their projects together helped them to really solidify all they had learned as well!!

Gunnar and Kaydence researched hawks.

Carter and Natalie researched cheetahs.

Brennan and Johnathan researched swordfish.

Aiden and Parker researched tarantulas.

Hayden and Ava researched penguins.

Jayden and Luke researched hedgehogs.

Mayeli and Caylin researched panda bears.

Landon and Addison researched pythons.

Kit and Charlotte researched ostriches.

Riley J. and Alison researched scorpions.
