Butterflies Are Here!

On Saturday, four of the butterflies emerged from their chrysalises and the last one came out on Sunday!  We are so excited to see our painted lady butterflies!  You can see in the background of this picture the red color that spills out of each chrysalis when the butterflies emerge.  This is not butterfly blood, but it is a liquid that is part of their development.
We will be setting the butterflies free this afternoon! What an amazing metamorphosis!
