Today we had visitors from Paw Paw Township and the Water Conservation Authority who taught us about groundwater, water towers and aquifers.
We learned about the Paw Paw Water Tower and how many gallons of water it holds.
We got to see why the tower has to be so tall to get water to come out of the hydrants in case of a fire.

We even got to see how contaminants in one area can affect the water in other wells and ground water!!

We even got to make edible aquifers!
What a tasty way to learn about science!!
