For Valentine's Day, we enjoyed time celebrating friendship and fun.

Everyone exchanged valentine cards and we enjoyed ice cream sundaes together!

It's nice to take a break from all the learning and just have some fun!

We played some "Minute-to-Win-It" Games, too.  Like "Through Thick and Thin"...

...where you had to get as many rotini noodles (thick) onto a fettucini noodle (thin) without using your hands!

It takes patience!

...slow and steady...

It's harder than you might think!

But some of the BUGS got really good at it!

We also played "Heart-A-Stack" where we used conversation hearts to make the tallest tower we could.

Don't bump the table!

We played "Smile!"  We used a straw to suck up m&ms and make a smilie face out of them.

You only have a minute, so you have to move fast!

We saw a lot of smiles when it was all over!

We also played "Stack Attack" with stacking cups.

You had to move really fast and get the cups lined up just perfectly to get all 21 in a pyramid before the timer went off!

We also played "Going Steady" with Fruit Loops and a popsicle stick.  How many do you think you can balance in one minute?

Finally, we played "That's the Way the Cookie Tumbles".  Can you get a Nilla Wafer from your forehead to your mouth without your hands?  McKenna can!

Thanks to all the parent helpers who helped keep the chaos down to a minimum (relatively speaking!)  Happy Valentine's Day!
